Join Miriam Vareldzis, founder/creative director of 40notes and Palette Naturals, for an intensive olfactive training smelling exquisite ingredients of natural perfumery.
Spend a day smelling the “building blocks” of natural perfumery. Explore the notes, complex accords, and fragrance families that make up the genealogy of scent. Deepen your understanding of the Language of Olfaction, the vocabulary of scent design, and personally experience the effect scent plays on memory, emotion and physiology.
Students gain access to a rare behind-the-scenes look into the sourcing & extraction methods of precious raw materials, and the art of perfumery from Indie to Industry™.
All levels of olfactive experience are welcome!
From ‘olfactive novice’ to indie perfumer, product formulator, beauty entrepreneur, chef, brew master, vintner, health & wellness coach, artistic collaborator or fragrance enthusiast, everyone will gain confidence and a deepen the connection to their own sense of smell.
